Hack the Barbican invited the Pony to organise and curate the first collective video excavation of the Barbican Centre in London.
Visitors of the centre were invited to record a one-minute video of something they loved in the Barbican Centre that they would like to share with future generations... in case a massive tsunami or an alien invasion threatens London and the wonderful Barbican Centre in particular, and destruction is imminent (we do have a thing for sci-fi!).
The result is a collective film that reflects how deeply connected Londoners are to those peculiar and wonderful barbaric 16 ha of concrete in the middle of the City, which you can watch here.
The pariticipants found an original way to reciprocate their love to one of their favorite places in the city, and for the Barbican it was the opportunity to gather random information, and we all know that random can be good.
