Did we tell you that the Pony now has its stables at Impact Hub King’s Cross in London?

The Impact Hub is a co-working space for entrepreneurs who want to make a positive impact in the world by working with and for people and the planet. We call those people social entrepreneurs.

Impact Hub is also a network. There are now almost a hundred over the world supporting social entrepreneurs across 49 countries, a community of people sharing the same values of collaboration, social justice and sustainability.

We love working from there as we constantly feel empowered and inspired by the awesome people sharing the space. So it was a real excitement when Devi Clark, the manager of the Impact Hub Scaling program offered us to run one of our playgrounds at the Scaling Program launch event this September.

Now I hear you asking: but what is the scaling program?

The Scaling Program is a 12 months program hosted by several Impact Hubs across the world (including Impact Hub King’s Cross) that is designed to accompany and support social entrepreneurs in taking their existing businesses to the next level to create even more positive impact, whether through joint venturing, expanding or franchising. In the entrepreneurial world we call this ‘scaling’.

The Playground

At the stables we got very excited to be part of the team encouraging and supporting these awesome entrepreneurs in their mission to change the world. We researched about Social Entrepreneurs and brainstormed their challenges. And as we knew that the first step to achieving one’s vision is to make it tangible and visual, we proposed a little playful and hands-on activity to be run during the Scale-up program launching event.

The aim of this activity will be to encourage the ‘scalers’ to imagine the future of their business after the program / once scaled. We call it the Scaling Future Mailbox. But shhhhh we can’t tell you more, for now!

We are looking forward to meet and play with the scalers and build a better world!
